At American Lakes, chronic absenteeism has fallen 55% over the 5-year window — from 3.4% in 2017 to 1.5% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 24.6% below in 2017 to 26.5% below in 2020.
