What we're seeing
At Washington Middle College, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 27% over the 5-year window — from 33.2:1 in 2020 to 24.4:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 17.8:1 above in 2020 to 9.0:1 above in 2024.
