What we're seeing
At DeKalb High, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 12% over the 5-year window — from 17.1:1 in 2021 to 15.1:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 1.7:1 below in 2021 to 0.3:1 below in 2024.
