What we're seeing
At GHOLSON ISD, chronic absenteeism has fallen 14% over the 5-year window — from 16.0% in 2015 to 13.8% in 2020. Despite that, the gap vs US average of ~28% has actually widened — from 12.0% below in 2015 to 14.2% below in 2020.
