What we're seeing
At Highline Public Schools Virtual Academy, the student:teacher ratio has fallen 32% over the 5-year window — from 25.5:1 in 2021 to 17.3:1 in 2024. The gap vs US average of 15.4:1 has narrowed — from 10.1:1 above in 2021 to 1.9:1 above in 2024.
